Meeting with Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan

            Parliamentary Senior Vice-minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Ryuji Yamane was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 3 May 2012.

The parties exchanged views on the state and perspectives of Uzbek-Japanese relations, and on regional issues.

Common endeavor for deepening mutually beneficial strategic partnership in political, diplomatic, trade, economic and cultural spheres was noted.

The experience of past constructive interaction allows the parties to effectively cooperate on bilateral basis, as well as within international structures, including the “Japan+Central Asia” interregional dialogue.

The parties confirmed their interest in enhancing mutual trade, joint innovative projects, expanding participation of advanced Japanese companies in high-tech spheres of the Uzbek economy.
